A message from Sean Whelan in the Bahamas,

   Hi Lads, Hope you are well   Thank, you for all you cards and get well wishes after my horrific injuries in the xmas Pud cup game.   Since then i have been resting my calf muscle and i am currently sitting buy the pool reading all my fan mail.

   I am afraid to tell you i won't be around for Friday, however i am sure you will go out and win it for us ... Once again thank you for your care and support and phone calls to see how i was and i look forward to a possible comeback in the next month or so.

D oes the fact that Jim's on Panto duty mean he's playing? He normally struts around like a bit of a Dame at the back!

    The Dads put up a fine show but they did make it interesting after going 2 - 0 up (Mal made a fine tactical substitution pulling himself off and playing John Frisby), they allowed the Mojos to come bake to 2 - 3. Only to dash their valiant opposition's dreams by coming through 4 - 3 in the end.
Goals from Dave Smith (3) and Thomas.
    A mention to the Mojo winger who managed to blast over the bar from 2 inches after he'd finally shaken off Mal.
